I love Chanel and I love aldehydes, so this is a hit 2/2.
A women’s floral-aldehyde fragrance created by Ernest Beaux in 1922. The scent is characterized by its purity, softness, and radiant, gentle powderiness. The main notes are aldehydes, white flowers, iris, vanilla, vetiver, and subtle woody-powdery nuances.
It is a very classic, elegant, and restrained fragrance. Yes, there is a resemblance to No. 5, but No. 22 is definitely fresher, more vetiver-like, and slightly tangy.
Vintage can be relevant, interesting, while still being recognizable and luxurious. And No. 22 is proof of that 🖤
