I’ve already written about Sycomore in my post about vetiver. But it definitely deserves a separate post!
The fragrance, like everything from Chanel, is incredibly beautiful. A woody, cool chypre with a hint of aldehydes. I can’t help it, aldehydes in my mind are forever linked to the brand.
The perfume composition consists of notes of neroli, bergamot, rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, as well as cedar, sandalwood, musk, and tobacco.
I see in it the damp coolness of a morning in the forest. Mist creeping under the skin. No floral femininity, just mysterious sophistication.
Unisex, but it leans more towards the masculine side. But I really like it 🖤
